Cardiff Students' Union
The Students’ Union provides a variety of activities and campaigns in Welsh, including:
- A full-time elected officer responsible for representing the Welsh language
- A dedicated forum for Welsh speakers to voice their opinions and share feedback with the University and the Union.
- Welsh-focused events organised to promote the Welsh language and culture, including celebrations such as the Eisteddfod, Shwmae Su’mae Day, St Dwynwen’s Day, St David’s Day, and Welsh Language Music Day
- All students can fully participate in democratic forums through the medium of Welsh.
Outside of events, the following correspondence and marketing elements are provided bilingually:
- Every student has the right to send and receive correspondence in Welsh.
- All signage and main posters in the building are bilingual.
- Emails sent to a large portion of students are bilingual and respect students’ language preferences. This includes external advertising emails, blogs, and newsletters.
- They have a Welsh-language X (Twitter) account @undebmyfyrwyr. All other social accounts @cardiffstudents combine Welsh and English.
Carers Wales
- You can read all their publications in Welsh.
- All of their campaigns are undertaken in Welsh and all campaign resources are available in Welsh.
- You can speak with them in Welsh on the phone – all members of staff will answer the telephone bilingually. If they do not speak Welsh, they will ensure that a Welsh speaking staff member will return the call in an appropriate and timely manner.
- You can write to them in Welsh and they will respond in Welsh in a timely way.
- You can view many of their webpages bilingually.
- All of their staff signatures on electronic mail are bilingual and Welsh speaking members of staff show the Cymraeg Gwaith logo on their singatures.
- All invitations to their events are sent out bilingually asking if you would like to participate in Welsh, all information packs for their events are available bilingually.
- To implement their Cynnig Cymraeg, theyproactivley promote learning Welsh to their staff through annual appraisals and monthly meetings with supervisors.

Catra
- Catra can verbally communicate through the medium of Welsh.
- Catra's website will be in Welsh first, with the option to change it to English.
- All literature and printed material will be in Welsh first, and then in English.
- Customers will have the option to obtain contracts in Welsh.
CAVO
- If you call them or write to them in Welsh, they will deal with your enquiry in Welsh. If the staff member does not speak Welsh, they offer to transfer the call to a Welsh speaker when possible.

Clybiau Ffermwyr Ifanc Cymru
- All the organisations’ services will be advertised bilingually, whether in digital form on the website and social media, or on promotional material such as posters or stickers.
- All members will have the opportunity to participate in all activities in their chosen language. Competitions such as entertainment and public speaking are held specifically through the medium of Welsh, in all other competitions, which are not naturally English or Welsh, participants will have the opportunity to compete in Welsh or English.
- Cymru YFC works in collaboration with the Welsh Language Learning Center to increase the number of members and staff who learn Welsh. The create competition opportunities for Welsh learners, eg reciting for learners.
- Staff, members, volunteers and the public can ensure that they receive services in Welsh, whether face-to-face or in the form of correspondence, with all material being sent bilingually.
- Simultaneous translation equipment will be available for use at Welsh Council committee meetings. In sub-committee meetings, members are also welcome to contribute in Welsh or English, as desired.
Community and Voluntary Support Conwy
