• DEG welcomes written correspondence through the medium of English and Welsh. All correspondence received through the medium of Welsh will be answered in Welsh. We will make every effort to ensure that all correspondence received through the medium of Welsh is addressed within the same timeframe as English correspondence.
• People are welcome to speak English or Welsh when dealing with DEG over the phone. If an employee is unable to provide a bilingual service, they will explain the situation to the individual and offer a Welsh-medium service from another employee of staff. If there are no Welsh speakers available, the person calling can choose to have a Welsh-speaking person give them a call back; submit the request in writing (hard copy/email); or continue the conversation through the medium of English.
• DEG is currently ensuring that those wishing to have face-to-face contact with a Welsh-speaking employee can do so either physically or virtually, depending on working arrangements in place by DEG at the time. This may not always be possible, but efforts will be made to offer the full service as far as possible.
• Everything we publish, including blogs, articles, social media posts, will be bilingual with Welsh first
• DEG strives to encourage and support employees who wish to learn Welsh and to support staff who speak Welsh and wish to improve their language skills.

• The identity and the image of the Bangor Diocese is completely bilingual.  There will be principle of equality at all times, with the Welsh appearing above or before the English.
• They strive to ensure that every message is given bilingually and at the same time on their social media accounts and they are also committed to providing a completely bilingual website.
• They strive at all times to encourage and support staff who wish to learn Welsh and support staff who speak Welsh who want to improve their language skills.

• Education and Learning – Training with inclusion resources for coaches, volunteers, and education staff online and in person available bilingually.

• Welsh Team – Disability Sport Wales has team members across all parts of the organisation who can fully provide services and support in Welsh.
• Website – we have a wider website and websites; www.insportseries.co.uk, and www.parasportfestival.co.uk) which offers a Welsh option to enable access to all elements of the website in Welsh.

• Members of Early Years Wales will receive a hard copy of SmallTalk, their full-colour bilingual magazine, packed with articles to inspire you to embed and lead high-quality practice. Also available as a digital magazine.
• You can navigate their website in Welsh, where you will find resources to support your work in the early years, including resources to support the development of the Welsh language.
• You are welcome to communicate with them in Welsh or English and the same standard of service will be provided in both languages.
• They are committed to developing a bilingual workforce. Every job advertisement and job description will state whether Welsh is an essential or desirable skill. Where it is essential, the minimum requirement is level 3 (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages); where desirable, the recruit will be supported to achieve level 3 over an agreed period during the recruitment process.
