- 85% of their regular freelance tutors speak Welsh which means that the majority of pupils receive musical training through Welsh if they wish. They encourage and are keen to support any freelancers who are keen to learn Welsh.

Cardiff Students' Union
The Students’ Union provides a variety of activities and campaigns in Welsh, including:
- A full-time elected officer responsible for representing the Welsh language
- A dedicated forum for Welsh speakers to voice their opinions and share feedback with the University and the Union.
- Welsh-focused events organised to promote the Welsh language and culture, including celebrations such as the Eisteddfod, Shwmae Su’mae Day, St Dwynwen’s Day, St David’s Day, and Welsh Language Music Day

- Every student has the right to send and receive correspondence in Welsh.
