The Urdd Eisteddfod is almost here and we are very much looking forward to being on Anglesey for the week. We hope to have the opportunity to chat with many of you at our stand.

We will be there from Saturday to Friday. As well as daily opportunities for you to come and talk to us, there will be special activities provided by partners, including public organisations, businesses and charities.

In the lead-up to the Eisteddfod, keep an eye out for a brand-new video on our social media, introducing some place names in the Eisteddfod area. There will be an interactive map at our stand where you can try placing towns and villages of Wales in the correct locations.

Over the first weekend, come and enjoy activities provided by the National Library of Wales.

Research Publication

On Monday, 25 May at 11:00 at our stand, Osian Llywelyn, Deputy Welsh Language Commissioner, will announce the results of our new research.

Over 1,500 further and higher education students across Wales were asked for their views on the opportunities available to increase their use of Welsh in everyday life. Everyone is welcome.

Then on Monday afternoon, come and hear more about the project Chwalu’r Mythau (Breaking the Myths) project, and on Tuesday there will be an opportunity to enjoy the melodic sounds of pupils from Ysgol Bodedern.

The team from the charity GISDA will be at the stand on Wednesday morning and afternoon (11:00 and 15:30), and at 14:30 the North Wales Fire and Rescue Service will hold a water safety session.

The Children’s Laureate of Wales will join us on Thursday, and that session is sure to be great fun – a mix of writing and drawing.

So why not come and visit us? A warm welcome will be waiting for you at our stand.
