Definite article
Although it is expected that a single form including the English definite article (the) be displayed on signage, it is more natural to use the Welsh definite article (y/yr) when writing this name within a Welsh sentence, e.g. ‘yn y Knap’ (in the Knap) or ‘mynd i’r Knap’ (going to the Knap).
