Read about their experience:

Being part of the scheme and accepting the Cynnig Cymraeg is extremely important to us in the Diocese of Bangor. Using Welsh is a natural part of our daily lives. The scheme has helped to ensure that everyone can communicate with us and worship with us in the language of their choice, and this is extremely important to us.

We have always used Welsh in the Diocese, but the Development Plan and the Cynnig Cymraeg has enabled us to formalise that and get the definitive evidence giving the language even more status in every situation. It also shows our commitment here at Bangor to the Welsh language.

I would encourage any organisation to apply for the Cynnig Cymraeg, the process has been a smooth one with lots of support available from the office of the Welsh Language Commissioner. Completing the Cynnig Cymraeg has made us realise our weaknesses and strengths and also emphasised the things that are important to our Welsh speaking community and audience. The Cynnig Cymraeg has given us real confidence in telling people that we are here to serve all the residents of the Diocese through the medium of Welsh.
