According to research by Sports Wales, Welsh speakers are more likely to take part in sports and to volunteer.

There are several reasons why sports clubs should use Welsh when training. There are many benefits to offering sports training sessions in Welsh. It can attract new members and volunteers to your sport and ensure that the needs of your current members are being met.
